Cooper, LLC is proud to announce that Renier P. Pierantoni has joined their firm. With more than twenty years of experience as a litigator, entrepreneur and educational leader, Renier P. Pierantoni expands Cooper, LLC’s commercial litigation practice group. His depth of experience in business litigation will be a great compliment to Cooper, LLC’s role as a full-service law firm for businesses and not-for-profit organizations in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area.

Renier brings to Cooper, LLC a reputation as a “go-to” strategic adviser who draws from his extensive executive and entrepreneurial leadership experience. Renier has launched a diverse array of successful enterprises, including a sports agency representing professional athletes, a 5-star rated mobile food franchise, and has served as Executive Director of a top ranked charter school.
Renier represents clients from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies on a wide range of complex, commercial matters, including insurance coverage, energy legislation, environmental matters, as well as prosecuted litigations on behalf of small to mid-size companies on construction contract, creditor/bankruptcy and wrongful termination matters. He has also counsels organizations on state and federal regulatory compliance, internal controls and policies, business wind ups, and business divorce.
Prior to joining Cooper, LLC, Renier was at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, where he prosecuted insurance claims and worked cooperatively with defense counsel in multi-district state and federal court hearings, trials and administrative matters, negotiating settlements resulting in multi-million dollar recoveries, and advised in-house counsel on protective asset strategies.

Renier has a JD from Yeshiva University’s Cardozo School of Law, and a BS from St. John’s University, NY. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University Graduate School of Education’s Center for Effective School Practices.
